This Privacy Policy explains how Venice Halle Studio ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit venicehallestudio.com, use our tools, or contact us about our services.
1. Information we collect
| When you | What we collect |
|---|---|
| Send a message (Contact form) | Name, email, business name, phone (optional) and your message. |
| Submit a Free Trial task | Name, email, business name, country, service type, task description, expected output, reference links and notes. |
| Request the Busywork Audit | Name, email and the details you enter in the form. |
| Book a discovery call | Details you give Calendly (name, email, chosen time). Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that service. |
| Browse the site | Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, which our hosting provider logs for security and reliability. If you accept analytics cookies, usage statistics are also collected. |
The Busywork Calculator and the Studio Assistant chat run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to our servers.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, scope your project and deliver your free trial task.
- To send you the resources you request, and follow-up emails related to your request. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To run, secure and improve the website, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We rely on your consent (for forms and analytics cookies), our legitimate interest in running and securing the site, and the need to take steps you ask for before entering into a service agreement.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the studio, under appropriate confidentiality terms:
- Netlify, which hosts the site and processes form submissions.
- Calendly, for scheduling discovery calls.
- YouTube (Google), for embedded portfolio videos, using the privacy-enhanced mode.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies and analytics are enabled.
- Our team members and specialists who work on your request, who are bound to keep client information confidential.
- Professional advisers, or authorities when the law requires it.
4. International transfers
Our team works remotely from more than one country, and our providers operate globally, so your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and trial information only as long as needed to respond and to provide services, and then for a reasonable period for records, usually no longer than 3 years after our last contact unless the law requires longer. Client project files are handled under the terms of the service agreement.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the Colorado Privacy Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email us at venice.virtual@gmail.com. We will respond within the time the law allows and may need to verify your identity. You can also change your cookie choice at any time with Cookie Settings. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of analytics cookies.
If you are in the EU, UK or a similar region, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with security headers, and access to client information is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our services are for business owners and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn, Calendly and client websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
